We appreciate the time you took to write to us. We can confirm there is no way to turn off the lyrics within the app as per this moment.

Another user had a similar request, so they posted this idea about it. Feel free to add your vote and to subscribe to it in the three-dot menu. That way you can stay up-to-date with any relevant news about this.

The lyrics screen in a total no sense. It makes mistakes grammar, it makes up words, it sucks. I can not make my cell stop showing it. I hate it
