Not loading music in iOS app, Android app, or web player

As of this morning, I was playing music on Spotify in iOS 18 and it abruptly stopped. I can see the playlists (there is a delay to load the songs in the playlist) but the moment I select a song it doesn’t load or play anything. I then switched to the Android app and to the web player, both with the same experience. The Android app had a different internet connection entirely.

If I go to the public website and play the sample music (without logging in), the sample music plays without any issue.

Thanks for reaching out on the Community! Kudos for trying on another operating system already 🙂

We'll gladly have a closer look into the issues you're experiencing with the service, however, as we haven't seen many other reports about the same behavior lately, there are a few things we'd like to double-check.

In this case, to make sure we're on the same page, do you notice the same issues when using the desktop app or the Web Player on a computer?

Also, if you're using VPN on your device(s), make sure to switch it off, as may interfere with the service and its performance.

Should this behavior persist, it would be great if you could give another Spotify account a shot as well. For example, you can ask a friend or a family member to log in to their own account on your device(s) to see if you notice any difference.
