Playlist goes missing

My Question or Issue

I have a playlist with 800+ songs. It has disappeared since today. The play list name is Everlasting collections

Check if you're able to recover it from your account page here. If someone else was the owner of the playlist, you can ask them to share it with you again so you can add it back to Your Library.

I can see this playlist in the recently listed area, but not in my library.
I can't able to add new songs also to this playlist . There is no-one else
is an owner of this playlist. (Even Though it is a public playlist )

Thanks for the reply. When you click on the creator of that playlist, does it lead to your own account or a different one? If it's a different one, this might be another playlist with the same name, which explains why you can't add songs. In any case, an option is to open the playlist, add all the songs to a new playlists and see if you can manage that. If you can, then use the newly created identical one instead.

When I click on the play list , I can see my name as the creator . But
still I can’t see it my library . Adding all the songs again is kind of
impossible. There are songs for around 58 hours

Thanks for the reply. You may see the name, but try clicking on the profile itself and seeing it it's actually your own. There's a possibility that two accounts with the same name exist, which would explain why you don't see it. As for the making of a new playlist, you can add all songs from one playlist to another by using the options/three dots of that playlist and selecting "Add to Playlist".

Try both of those and let us know how it goes.

Thank you for your response. The play list is belonging to me .. I double checked that ..

Couple of facts I want to share with you .

This issue started when I linked my account with a Tesla Model Y.
Sometimes, when I am listening to this playlist (Either from Tesla or from the iPhone app), the app itself picks up some random play list and this play list disappears. From then on, this playlist will not be visible in the history as well in the app. But when I come to the web browser (Edge or Google Chrome ) in a windows machine I can see this play list in the history.

Hope these steps can help you to narrow down the problem.

Just to be on the safe side, since you're seeing the playlist in History but not always in Your Library, could you double-check if you see any playlists under Recover playlists over at the account page?

To check, just head to the account page > Recover playlists > click on Restore. If the playlist has been accidentally removed from Your Library, it should appear for you there.

Once the playlist has been restored, try logging out from the app and back in again. This action should resync your account info.

We're happy to hear this has solved the issue and you've got your playlist back. Unfortunately, we can't say exactly why it disappeared, but it's possible that you accidentally deleted it. It's also worth checking the apps linked to your account and removing them.

Can't find my playlist

I have renewed because your pop up mentioned my playlist M04 April. Now I can only find playlists generated by other people or computers.

All the songs from my playlist have been deleted. The playlist itself is still there, but it's unfortunately empty. I didn't delete anything. Could you please help me restore them? There were over 180 songs.

It's quite odd that the songs were removed, but the playlist is still there. In this case, we recommend checking if there are any third-party or external apps connected to your Spotify account. To check, go to your Account Overview page > Apps and remove the access to the apps that you don't recognize. It's also a good idea to Sign out everywhere, and update your password.

Now, we're unable to check accounts from here, but feel free to reach out to our Support Team so they can check that.

I deleted my playlists and restored them, but when I logged out and back in on the app, they still aren’t showing up. 😞

Same with me. I can see them on the website but they're empty on the app. Podcasts I frequently listen to, their list appears empty to me as well.

Doesn't work, the lists appear full on the website but the app is empty. Confirmed on 2 different accounts, 2 different phones.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

When the playlists appear empty on the app, but not on the website, it's commonly related to a mismatch between the country registered on your account and the one you're currently located in (if you're using a free account). If that’s the case, we'd recommend updating your country settings by following the steps mentioned in this article.

We'd also recommend turning any VPM off as it changes your current location and may affect the proper behavior of the app.

Has the correct country setting, it was already set to Canada. Tried logging out of everywhere. Deleted list, recovered list, Still no luck
