Hi, thanks for reaching out!

This message typically means you've reached the limit of devices authorized to download content. Since you've already factory reset your old phone, you can't disable downloads from there directly. However, you can resolve this issue by managing your devices via the Spotify app or website.

Using the Spotify Mobile or Desktop App, open Spotify on your new phone and go to Account Settings. Then tap on your profile picture (mobile) or click your username (desktop). Navigate to Settings - Manage Downloads - Devices or Offline devices.

You’ll see a list of devices with offline downloads. Remove older devices to make space for your new phone.

Let me know if you need further help!

I just recently got a new phone and when I try to download songs on my new phone, the app says I have too many devices for downloads. I’ve already factory reset my old phone so I can’t turn off downloads. How can I remove this from my device list?
