Why does Spotify stop playing a playlist?

When playing a playlist Spotify stops either halfway through the first song or at the end of it. Today it has also started playing the same playlist song twice in a row. Any idea what’s going on?

This sounds like odd behavior and we'll need some more details in order to investigate.

To start, I recommend a clean reinstall if you've not done this already as corrupted cache on a device can cause such performance issues. You can follow the steps here.

Additionally, let us know:

Did you notice when this started happening (was it after something specific)?
Is it a particular playlist?
Are you streaming to another device (speaker for example)?
Does it happen across devices or a specific one?

If it's only a specific device and the behavior is unchanged after a reinstall in order to test if this is an account-related issue instead, it'd be helpful if you could ask a relative or a friend to log in to their account on your device.
