I only have a free spotify account, yet I am able to access premium features?

My Question or Issue:

Today I was listening to music with my free account on my phone, and I suddenly realised that I could skip more than the usual 6 times per hour. I checked and I could choose individual songs, just like premium, yet I have never paid for premium, nor have I ever done the free trial. I was not listening to music on a different device at the same time as well, does anyone know what happened and what I should do?

Hi I’m having the same situation where my account is on free but I’m on iOS and getting perks that premium has like unlimited skips and being able to organise my playlist’s songs in any order I want despite not paying for premium

Some of the playlists Spotify presents you with have unlimited skips and playing on demand even on free -
These include a number of personalized and curated playlists which are particular to you based on your music taste and how you stream on Spotify, namely Discover Weekly, Release Radar, Broken Heart, up to six Daily Mixes and others!

Tip. All of these playlists are marked as made by Spotify.

Hi, I'm also having the same problem, I checked my account several times and it shows the free subscription. I use an iPhone and I have Spotify free for years but since yesterday I have some of the advantages of the premium version, including unlimited skips, seeing song lyrics and being able to freely choose songs from various albums and playlists. But it doesn't allow me to download the songs and tells me that to do so I need to have a premium account. I really don’t understand.

Hi, I’m also having the same problem (and not with “pre-created” playlists, but with every playlist!). My account has suddenly acquired premium features. Also, today on the bottom of my home page appeared this quote: “you can listen to every song you want with your premium trial” (or something like that). But I never subscribed to the premium trial, nor any Spotify plans. Can someone help me please?

Hi there, I believe the reason why this happened was because Spotify gave me a free trial without me needing to start it manually. A few days after it started, a pop up in Spotify stated that I had until a few days ago to try out premium. Since a few days ago however, my account has returned back to its usual free status. Sorry for the late response.

My Question or Issue

I just logged into my spotify and noticed that I can play all the songs without ads. without any advertising, knowing that I don't have a premium account and never have.
