hello, so, as of currently now. support for the iPod Touch Sixth Generation has ended. I was unable to log in last night, it was such a horrible experience because I use my iPod to sleep.

now, I’m considering on buying the seventh and last generation so in order I can tackle this problem.

my question is, would support still be shown for the seventh generation iPod Touch? it still would run iOS 15 so I’m unsure what’s the issue here.

I need answers please!

Thanks for coming to the Community.

Spotify currently supports iOS 15 and above, but since that's the minimum requirement, it’s likely just a matter of time before it moves up to a newer version.

If you're looking for a device that will support Spotify for a few more years, you might want to consider a budget Android device running Android 12, 13, 14, or 15—they should be good for quite a while. Right now, Spotify’s minimum requirement for Android is 7.0.
