Cannot change playback speed on ipad

My Question or Issue

In the menu which shows the track which is being played, status, volume etc. the playback speed icon isn't available anymore which results in podcasts you cannot change the playback speed. The icon is available on my iPhone.

It'd be great if you can send us a screenshot of what you see when you play a podcast on your iPad, so that we can take a closer look. I'd recommend starting off with a clean reinstall of the app to make sure you're running the latest version and to remove any damaged cache. You can find the steps here and you'll see a clarification about iPad when you click on iPhone.

Another thing that's worth trying is asking a friend or relative to log in their own Spotify account on your iPad to check if they see the playback speed button. This way we can determine if this is account-related.

We can confirm that it's expected that you can't see the podcast speed options on the minimized view you showed us on the screenshot. These options are only available on the Now playing view:

If you can't find it in the Now playing view either, send us a screenshot of it and we'll take a closer look.
