Spotify Connects To Other Devices While I'm Driving

Hi!

When I drive & have my Spotify connected via bluetooth with the Spotify front page displayed it starts trying to connect to other devices & stops playing. But when I have my iPhone on the Bluetooth settings display page to show it's actually connected to my car, Spotify does not try to connect to other devices. It only tries connecting when I have the actual Spotify app displayed on my phone. I've tried deleting the app & reinstalling, signing out everywhere, & changing my password. I still have the same issue. This only happens with my Spotify app. It doesn't happen with my Apple Music, Soundcloud or any other apps I use in my car. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for posting this thread in the Community and welcome!

It's great that you've already tested with some troubleshooting steps and it's also helpful that you've shared them here.

Something else that comes to mind if you haven't already tried is to go to Spotify's Settings > Apps and devices > Local device visibility and make sure it's toggled off.

Let us know if this changes anything.

Gracias for the suggestion. I made the change as well as turning off my personal hotspot on my iphone. I've also just been driving without displaying my Spotify and it's definitely improved. I will let you know if it keeps having connecting issues.
