Widget issue IOS( grey box)

Hi, I am an IOS user and I just upgraded from an IPhone 11 to IPhone Pro. I have a premium account. Currently I am trying to have the Spotify widget on my Lock Screen but whenever I add it, it shows a grey box. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app as well as powered off my phone and they didn’t work. I even logged out of my account to logged back in and that didn’t work either. I am on the latest version and the widget still won’t work. It works on my iPhone 11, but it won’t work here. Please help me out. Thank you.

Hey,

I usually restart my phone when this happens. It's more of an Apple Issue, than a Spotify one, because it's also happened to other active widgets I have.

It's mostly due to app updates or caching issues.

You can try removing and re-adding the widget or updating Spotify too.

If that doesn't work, then just wait a while and it should resolve itself. (Funnily enough this works more often than you think)
