Podcast Speed Button not working

The button to change the podcast speed in the iOS app is not responsive. I repeatedly have to restart the app to get it to work. All other buttons on the podcast playback screen are working fine.

Can you try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps? If that doesn’t work, can you let me know the make and model of the device you’re using? You can also send me a screen recording of what you’re seeing, so I can tae a closer look. Make sure to hide sensitive info when posting to the Community.

I’m on an iPhone 16 Pro. I tried the clean reinstall and it only worked once, i tried closing the app and reopening it and it didn’t work anymore after that. Screen recording won’t show the issue since you can’t see where I’m tapping but I’ve attached a screenshot of the button I’m referring to that isn’t working.

Thanks for your reply and for the info shared.

As a next step, we suggest you log out and log in twice in a row onto your Spotify account. This could sound a little bit odd, but this way the system will force a resync of your account in general.

In this case, we'd like to gather some additional info. Please send us:

The exact Spotify version you're running.
Does this happen when playing a specific show? If yes, share with us the link to it.
Did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event such as an OS update?
Does this happen across all your devices?
