How to change language

I use Spotify on my iPhone. The language has changed from English to a language I can’t read. How can I get back to English?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Spotify Community.

I can imagine how frustrating it could be trying to navigate the app in a language you don't understand, but don't worry, you can follow these steps to change it:

Tap your profile picture at the top.
Tap Settings and privacy (the gear icon)
Tap Content and display.
Tap App language and select your preferred language.

This doesn’t help when you can find the language line because you can’t read any of it. Can you say after the gear go to (# of Lines down) then so on like that?

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Spotify Community!

Are your device's language settings in the correct one you want to use? You can check by open Settings on your iOS device > go to Apps > select Spotify in the list > click preferred language and choose your preferred one and that should also update the app language within Spotify as well.

If that doesn't do the trick, can you send us a screenshot of what you see when you click on the gear icon and then on Content and display, which should be 4th in the list?
