Shuffle Button Not Working

My Question or Issue

My shuffle isn’t working properly. I have tried to press the shuffle button but it doesn’t turn green and stays grey. However it does work when I view the display where the song is and lyrics is. I want it to stay on shuffled but it keeps staying grey. When I play a song I have to press the shuffle button again after the song is playing. I have tried to delete the app, clear cache but nothing works.

Can you try these steps and see if it makes any difference? If it doesn't work, can you confirm whether this is happening on your phone only or on other devices too?

I have tried everything that you have mentioned but my shuttle button still doesn’t work . This only happens on my phone but works completely fine on my laptop.

It happens to me too, iPhone 15 here. Exactly the same.
