How to change from Arabic to English language on app

Hello,

The app language has gone to Arabic and I have no idea how to get back to English! I can't read Arabic so not even sure what anything now says in the settings. Any help appreciated, Richard

Thanks for reaching out on the Community!

While the language settings can be updated via the Spotify app, you should also be able to change it directly through the device settings, which might be helpful in your case.

To do this, open Settings on your iOS device > go to Apps > select Spotify in the list > click preferred language and choose English (or another one you'd like to use). You can also check the steps on how to change the app language on other devices on this page.

Hello Maria, I have changed my app setting in my overall phone and I have an air and it is stuck. I cannot change it. I don’t understand Arabic to change it

Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community.

Just to confirm, is your phone's language in Arabic as well or only the Spotify app's?

In the Spotify app, try following these steps:

Tap on your profile picture in the upper left corner of the app and then on the gear icon (Setting and Privacy):

Then, tap on "Content and display" which would be the second option here:

And finally, you can find the "App language" option here:

Once you tap on it, you'll be able to select the language you'd like.

If those steps don't work for you, send us a screenshot of what you see on your end and we'll take a closer look. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert image option in the post editor. Make sure not to send any private info.
