topic Want to revert to syncing with iTunes in iOS (iPhone, iPad)

Hi,

I've just got Spotify Premium, and set it to sync with my iPhone 5. I didn't know at the time that this would wipe my iTunes music.

I have since read that it would have warned me before doing this. I don't remember any warning messages coming up, but that's by the by now.

I want to go back to syncing with iTunes, and not Spotify. I have read that once you've set your iPhone to sync to Spotify there is "no way" to change it back. Is that the case? Even if I reset the phone to factory settings, would it still not go back to iTunes? I have seen the thread where people ask to have their offline devices reset if something has been stolen or lost. If I requested for this to be done, would I be able to sync with iTunes?

Thanks very much for your help.

Should anyone else ever have this problem, you can get your iPhone to revert to iTunes if you have a saved backup from before you synced to Spotify. You have to erase all content and settings and then restore the saved backup you want. This seems to be the only way to go back.
