&lt;P&gt;Nope, you need Spotify Premium to stream your playlists on any mobile device so if you want to use a mobile device you need to upgrade.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So I have a premium account, and it works fine to play individual songs on the desktop software but when I try and play songs on the&amp;nbsp;IOS&amp;nbsp;app it tells me I need to be a premium account. I have a premium account I've tried several times to fix this by uninstalling the app, rebooting my phone, logging out of the app and nothing so far has worked&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please note it can take some time for a premium subscription to activate across all devices.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1) Have you checked your &lt;A href="https://www.spotify.com/account/subscription/" target="_blank"&gt;Subscriptions page&lt;/A&gt; to make sure your account is successfully premium?&lt;BR /&gt;2) Does Spotify desktop say 'Spotify premium' at the top?&lt;BR /&gt;3) Make sure you're logging in with the right account; it's very easy to have both facebook and Spotify details!&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Ah yes, that explains it! A premium subscription is required for mobile usage. Unlimited gets rid of ads and allows you to stream as long as you want on desktop, but a premium subscriptionis required for everything else (phone usage, offline syncing, HQ streaming, and the features of unlimited).&lt;/P&gt;
