Discover is missing.

I have spotify version 0.7.1.23 in iOS 6.1.4 and I noticed that a new tab discover appeared with the update. I really enjoyed using that and now it has disappeared. I have reinstalled the app. And it's still missing. The what's new tab is there however when I select it it is glitchy.

I downloaded the new Spotify update way back when.. With the new Now Playing view and Discover. I liked it, besides not having "Whats new?" and the fact that it crashed like 20 times a day. A few minutes ago, it crashed, and of course I re-opened it like I always do. But it was different. The app literally reverted to the old Version, with "Whats new" and the old now playing design. What the heck just happened? "Whats new" isnt even working right.. I'm worried. My music still works okay but I want the other version back!! How could it even do this.. It dosent make sense at all..

Same problem here since 2 days any solution? I was really enjoying the discover tab! I have been with Spotify since 2009 in England! Now I'm Premium since it has been out here in USA. I tried uninstall but no success 😞

Discover is also missing on my iPhone 5, replaced with "What's New".

This happened mid-day yesterday with no push-update or any reasoning why.

My friend was utilizing "Discover" mid-play and it stopped then the option disappeared all together.

I spoke with a co-worker (Samsung Galaxy Note 2) and he also stated that "Discover" is missing from his player as well.

This isn't an iPhone issue or an "App" issue, this is some type of server issue.
I didn't realize Spotify could alter their app in this particular manner.

Same here. Happened last night. Spotify APP shutdown and now have previous version.

Dont want to delete/resinstall it incase I loose playlists.

What's new has mysteriously reappeared on iOS devices overnight. The Spotiguys are looking into it 🙂

The app didn't revert to an old "app version" iOS apps just can't do that
The Discover/What's New section in the iOS is a server side thing
So the whole app didn't revert, just that section

The Spotify iOS developers are looking into the problem

Also -- The new now playing view hasn't even rolled out yet. It should be coming soon.

Hmmmm that's really weird. Have you tried deleting the Spotify app and re-installing it?

It will erase all the playlists you have downloaded and you would have to redownload them though.

I'm using Spotify app version 0.7.1 and it has the slide out menu.

The "What's Now" view is currently being shown instead of "Discover" for some users and Spotify is looking into the problem.

I have no more the "Whats Next" option on a Playlist and the screens options are all the previous versions displays

Version shows 0.7.1.23 though

Just deleted and resinstalled APP from new

Well Sam, you should let us know that you will be doing some test because for me this feature is why I pay the premium package!

Please, restore it back "discover tab" in iOS app (V 0.7.1.23), I',m a premium user and it was most valued feature.

I love the Discover tab and use it constantly in the car, but have the same problem (Discover tab disappeared) across iPhone 5 and iPad 4even after reinstall. Interestingly, at the same time the Discover tab on my Mac became wider and more confusing to use (I found having a two-item-wide Discover slowed me down because I'm used to scrolling quickly down and making yes/no decisions as I see the next item.) My guess is that there’s work in progress behind the scenes!
