Spotify app won't load

I have an iPhone 4 and my spotify app will not load/open. It just has a white screen and after some time it force closes.

It worked just fine less than a week ago. I have reinstalled it and rebooted my phone but it still will not work. What do I need to do?

Please could you try a factory reset? Before that, try using a different internet connection.

When you say rebooted did you do a full power off by pressing and holding the front and lock buttons together until the apple logo appears on the screen?

No I just turned it off and back on. I didn't hold the front button
