When I'm using spotify it looks as if its frozen and shows previous song covers when I'm not listening to the song it shows. I. Using an iPad 2 on iOS 6.1.2

Hi! Welcome to the community! That is strange and might be just some lag. Have you tried all the steps outlined in this topic? Let me know if this works for you.

It must be a lag of some kind because when I exit the app and reopen it fixes itself

I'd also like to add, that this only happens when I exit the app to use something else like Facebook, Twitter Etc.

You said in the Skype chat that you're still experiencing this issue, right Michael?

Which version of the app are you running? And are you still able to reproduce this exactly?
