I also have this issue. As soon as I went to iOS7, artist/song no longer displays.

It is minor, but I also imagine it is probably a quick fix.

Just upgraded to iOS7 today, and was using Spotify in my car, using the USB cord like usual. Plays fine.

The big problem that I encountered however was that the Artist/Song/Album no longer appears on my display for Spotify tracks; tracks that were imported from my computer still display, even when played through Spotify.

I hope this is just an oversight by Spotify, and not something that Apple is blocking.

I'm having the same issue with my 2013 Toyota Highlander. I noticed that some tracks did show text but most did not. I don't know for sure if the ones that were showing the text were imported from my mac. Also when I switched to bluetooth in my vehicle it looked like the text did display for several tracks and I didn't see any that were missing information. That being said I prefer USB as the sound quality is better. So Spotify please look into this!

Yes, same problem here. No more Artist, Song, or Album metadata since upgrading to iOS 7, and I am plugged in directly from my iPhone 4S into the USB port of my car stereo.

Same here with my iPhone 4S/iOS7 device in both my 2006 Malibu with a JVC aftermarket stereo unit, and my wife's 2012 Ford Focus with the factory stereo/SYNC hardware. Very annoying when I want to know what's playing while my GPS app (Waze) is running, and I don't know what song is playing...
