iOS 7 an in-car controls

So with iOS 7 I can use in car controls to control spotify.
Kind of...
Every time i press next on my car controls spotify will start skipping 5-6 songs, then play one at random.

It's a 2012 Hyundai Elantra.
Anybody else have that problem?

I am having a similar problem. I thought it was with in car controls, but i think i have narrowed it down to issues with controlling spotify outside of the app. When i try to pause or change songs through control center nothing is happening. I have tried everything to fix this but nothing seems to be working.

I should also note that my in car issues are on a 2013 Elantra.

The Spotify team are aware of in-car issues with Spotify on iOS 7 and are trying to collect some extra details for the dev team.
