My spotify is not syncing

My spotify is not syncing my playlist when I connect the usb cable does not appear anything (Ipod Device) on the left side below the button "DEVICE", nothing happens.
I have iTunes installed on my computer,
will be that I'm forgetting to install something else? Any application? My iPodTouch is 4.2.1 ,
Already has almost 2 weeks I'm trying and not getting,
someone help me please!

Hey @angelicausa2006 🙂

You can't sync an iPod Touch using the USB cable method, it is only for non-smart iPods like nanos.

To sync an iPod Touch with Spotify on your computer, you need to connect them to the same WiFi network, full instructions (follow the iPhone ones) are here.
