When the Spotify app debuted for iOS, I remember that free users were instantly thrown in the free-trial of Spotify premium. Does this still apply or can I listen to my ad-featured playlists like I can with the PC/Mac Spotify app?

Hello, @ChrisH91! To my knowledge, to use Spotify on the go or on various mobile devices you need to upgrade to Spotify Premium. US users can only listen to radio for free and this is the only feature that's available free for users on Spotify Free.
