Hi,

Latest way sync works is really annoying , every time I go to my phone I see the message "sync has paused" why can spotify no longer sync when the app is in background or the phone goes dark ? I only ever notice it as I'm on my way out the door.

Do you mean local track sync?

Is the WiFi being turned off when you turn the screen off?

The application will stop synching anytime the screen goes to sleep and its not plugged in, normally because iOS will turn WiFi off (or go into low power mode) to save battery.

If you plug it in, or leave the app playing some content (even if its muted) you should find it will continue to sync.

I'm finding that even when marking a playlist as offline then going to email the sync pauses , on ios 7 in the drop down notifications I have lots of paused sync messages.

Older versions of spotify seemed to sync without this issue but saying that maybe it's down to ios 7
