Spotify wrong language

Hi!

I had my phone breifly on portuguese and then changed back. Now all is back on swedish except spotify.

I tried hard restet, reinstall, logged out and in from app store and tried deleting the app, log out from app store, reboot phone and then log in to app store and download spotify app. Same result, back in portuguese.

Any ideas?

Are both your language and region format set correctly in iOS Settings > General > International?

Hi!

Yes, app store is signed out and reinsigned. no signs that it's not on swedish App Store.

Anyone assosiated with Spotify that can help me out?

I had the same problem, spotify was all on French. I managed to fix it though. I changed the language from swedish to english. Logged in to the app and spotify changed to english from french. I then switched to swedish and spotify stayed on english.

No more french problems 🙂

I also had this problem for awhile. I figured it had something to do with the languge priority in the iPad languge settings. Even though i changed from German back to Norwegian, spotify stayed German, because spotify aparently doesn't have a Norwegian setting and automatically chose nr.2 on the list, now being German. To change this priority, you must switch device language to the one you want on 2.nd place and then back to your own language, as there is no manual way to do it in the settings.

Someone I do not know was using my Spotify and listening to French rap. I noticed this and then looked at my history and realized it was happeneing for at least a few weeks. I used the "Log out of my account" tool and haven't noticed any strange activity since. However, I am now recieving all of my spotify emails in French. The language listed on my account has always been English. I just checked and it is still listed as English, yet I am still reciving emails in French. I doubt the person using my account was someone I know because I always log my account out when I use someone else's device. I also don't know too many French people. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.
