Spotify doesn't work

I got my spotify premium yesterday and I am now trying to create a playlist on my iphone, but the app does'nt respond to my touch when I press the edit button. It doesn't respond when I try to search either. I've tried to log in and out, and deleted the app and reinstalled it, but it still doesn't work. What should I do?

Hey there, welcome to the Community. It's worth trying restarting your iPhone by holding the Home button and the Lock button together for about 10 seconds until the screen goes black. That fixes a lot of non-responsive app problems on iOS devices.

You should be able to cancel by following the prompts on your online account under "Manage Subscriptions".

Hi. I have spotify premium but it's not working on my iPhone. I deleted the app logged in again, turned off my iPhone, and did the restart as previously suggested, but Ithe app is still tellingly that I need to upgrade. Anyone have any other suggestions or solutions? Thanks so much.

Hi I am also having a similar problem. I enjoy using the spotify web player, however whenever I try to press play, nothing happens. I tried restarting my computer, however, nothing happened that would fix this problem. I have a chromebook, although I dont know why that would matter because its the webplayer. Thanks.

If you are on Spotify free there is an ongoing issue with an advert getting stuck in the web player which causes playback to stop. Incognito appears to clear the issue temporarily until the tech guys can fix it.
