Spotify Connect - I really want to use it!

Hi, I've got a Mac, a PC, iPad, a Denon receiver AVR-1000 (not on the list) and iPhone. I still try to figure out which devices can use Spotify Connect and which can't. Without going into too much detail, I have some use case where I really could use spotify connect.

All of my devices are in the same network - neither on iphone or ipad I can see a spotify connect icon.

I would like to remote my pc from iPhone or iPad is that even possible?

Anyhow remote iPad with iphone isn't working either.

How can I activate spotify connect? Version:

Mac: 0.9.8.150

PC: 0.9.7.16

iPhone: 0.9.3.212

iPad 0.9.3.212

Spotify Connect is still rolling out, so not all user accounts will have it yet, although if you have a Connect compatible speaker on the network it will normally enable the feature. Spotify Connect (once enabled on your account) currently works between all iOS and android devices, with the desktop application to hopefully be added in the future.

Unfortunately, if it hasn't reached your account yet, its just a case of waiting for it.

understood. thanks! I think my DENON AVR-1000 is only spotify capable but not spotify connect. so probably the reason why not activated yet.

I would also really like to use this feature, it was released back in September 2013 I think and still the roll out isn't complete.

It's these kind promises of features and then having to wait ages to use them that really frustrates me about Spotify. An otherwise great service.

Is there any way to check if this has been enabled for a particular account? How would I know of it was just network settings / firewall issues or spotify itself that is preventing it working?
