I use to have spotify but I had deactivated my premium account last month and I want to reactivated it without losing my music.

Yes of course, you can unsubscribe/resubscribe at any time from your online account. No matter what subscription plan you are using, your playlists will always remain on your account as you are free to listen to them on Spotify free.

Okay so if my account says that I will have spotify premium until march 8 and then it will become spotify free does that mean it's activated right now or that I will need to renew it that day?

That means your account is currently on Spotify Premium, and will remain on Premium until that date. You can upgrade before then though and the date will adjust to give you all of the time you have paid for.
