Sound only for a second

I'm premium subscriber but recently I can't play songs from Spotify to Apple Tv anymore. When I press Airplay sound comes for a second, then disappears, comes back, disappears and so only. The sound is only there for a split second. When I play through the Ipad speakers it sounds fine and also when I stream from iTunes,so the problem must lie in Spotify somewhere.When I stream to my Denon receiver it seems to work fine but I had some trouble with crashes yesterday. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but to no avail.

Does rebooting your iPad by holding the home and lock buttons together until the apple logo appears on screen and then trying again make any difference?

I've also found with airplay I get far less issues when bluetooth is disabled on my iPad.
