Your choices are pretty much iOS 6+ devices (so modern iPod Touch models) and android 2.3+ devices (hard to come across ones that aren't phones, but Sony do make android Walkmen).

Spotify do not support syncing of offline content to any other iPod models than the Touch, nor do they support generic mp3 players as they do not have the ability to run the Spotify app.

I have spotify premium on Mac OS and sync it with a failing I pod touch. I am looking for a new device to replacd the I pod touch. I use it offline. I have several playlists and like to change them frequently to use off line. I do not use iTunes. I do not use other features of the hand-me-down iPod and do not want to spend a ton of money.

Spotify must have a list of syncable devices. (Not just syncable with iTunes or other music on my computer, but syncable with Spotify offline playable playlists. Don't they?

Non Apple stuff is fine.

pat
