Music pausing when app closes

Updated to the new version of the app, now whenever I'm playing music and exit the app or the screen locks, my music fades out and pauses. Thus, a useless app. Help please 😞

What device and iOS version are you using and how are you listening - wired earphones?

It doesn't matter what I use. If I have no headphones, if I have headphones, if I'm airplaying, same thing happens. Music fades out. If I bring the control center up and click play, nothing happens even though the song title is still there.

This is on iPhone 5S. Same thing happens on iPad Air. iOS 7.0.4

Try restarting your iPhone and iPad. I heard someone had the same problem and restarting their device fixed it for them.

Doesn't make a difference.

Edit: ok I deleted and reinstalled and it's fixed now. Weird!
