topic Spotify USB Car Stereo Connection (2012 Honda Civic i-MID) in iOS (iPhone, iPad)

Hi, everybody

I have a 2012 Honda Civic which features the new i-MID media system. I plug my iPhone 4 into the USB and Spotify works wonderfully, displaying track info and album art on the dash like it should. Unfortunately, a few tracks down the line it goes and the whole USB connection blows up on on me. I'm unable to use Spotify or any other app until i exit Spotify and replug the dock connector, with i-MID telling me I have an unrecognized device. This seems to happen between tracks while streaming and only with the Spotify app. Any thoughts?

Yea I have a 2010 Acura TSX with the very similar Honda/Acura Navi and it quit working after a Spotify update last October. Pair your iPhone with HandsFreeLink and stream through Bluetooth.

I have a Pioneer AVH series and I found the next behavior. Lets say I create a playlist of 10 songs and start from the first song with the iphone connected, everything works great, the song title, the artwork are shown in the display and it says song 1 of 10. I press the next song an it says song 2 of 9 (it decreases the number of total files in the playlist) but still everything works fine but when I reach song number 6 the title song and artwork are not shown because it says song 6 of 4 and then everythings goes wrong. Do you have the same problem?

If you go to settings - notifications and switch all off bar find my ipone the problem goes away.
