Ipod touch Spotify and memory?

Hi,

I really want to get a spotify subscribtion and currently am wanting to get the Apple Ipod touch 8gb. I was wondering if anyone knew how much memory of the 8gb spotify app etc used? on my dads ipad it is 5.3 GB and i don't really want to get it if I am only left with 2-3 gb of my own music collection.

Hello,

The application itself is around 14mb - This will expand when you sync tracks offline, or if you start listening to tracks rather a lot. However, desyncing those playlists or reinstalling the application should give you that space back.

A correction on that answer David, desynching playlists does not recover the used memory, only a complete reinstall of the app will do that.
