I found that I was low on memory and that my spotify was taking up 4GB on my iPhone 4 and so I took my playlists off offline mode and yet they remain taking up memory,
I have already looked up this issue and although spotify say that when you try to download something else this memory will be freed up, on my device it still tells me that I have no memory, help?

Hi @Bowman99 - sometimes it will free up the space over time, and sometimes it wont. I've found that it can take a few hours to get the space recognized as free again by myiPhone, but there have been times when I never get the space back. The way to get the space back 100% of the time is to reinstall the app.
