iOS 3.1.3 404 issues

I'm currently using a very old device (iPhone first generation) with some version of Spotify for 3.1.3. When I try loggin in, I get an error,

Error: 404

Is there any way that I can fix this, or is logging in from this version of Spotify for iOS no longer supported?

I'm pretty sure that device is no longer supported, but I am not 100% sure.

From Spotify help article:

Error 404 is most likely a temporary problem with Spotify's login server. Try the following steps:

But if you can login via the desktop app, then it's probably that your iOS device is no longer supported.
