Syncing local files using iPhone

I used to be able to manually sync my local files from my computer to my iPhone using the free version of Spotify. Now when I click to manually sync the songs it automatically switches to sync all local files to the device. I don't want to sync every local file I have just about 30 or 40 songs. Is this some sort of bug?

You can create a playlist to group and sync, will be much easier for you.

yeah i already have a playlist. spotify wont let me sync my local files though. that was the point of the whole post

it's due to many factors, I'll list them below:

* You must be on Spotify Premium to enjoy the offline features. *

If you have physical tracks (Local Files) that's located on your computer, you need to make sure you open the Spotify app on your PC/Mac/Linux and head to the Devices Tab AND open the app on your iPhone.
Also make sure that the computer and the phone is on the same wifi network.
If it still does not work, go to your iPhone and open a Personal Hotspot and connect your computer to the wifi network on your iPhone and all should be well!
