I have carefully followed all the instructions to sync my playlists to my iPod but it will not do it - I have done so successfully with my iPad.

Hello!

At the moment only local files are able to be synced with iPods. This is why your playlists aren't syncing.

If you are trying to sync local files, be sure that you have enough free space on the device (around 1GB should be fine).

I hade the same problem. I have an iPod classic 5th generation. I installed the last firmware, the last iTunes and the last version of spotify. I am on Windows. When I connercted the iPod for the first time with spotify opened, Spotify asked me to reset on iTunes the iPod. I did and everything was perfect. I closed iTunes and I opened Spotify and the software crashed. It crashes only if the iPod is connected. Can someone help me?

Thank you for all the suggestions. I was indeed trying to sync my playlist and now know that it is only local files that can be synced. I was trying something that is not available.
