Local Files have disappeared

Local files have disappeared from both my Ios app and the desktop version.

I am completely stumped as to why this happened. I have not touched the desktop version in weeks. Literally no idea what's going on. Would appreciate any advice.

Just noticed the same issue here on the desktop version for windows 7. It was already annoying that they disabled the posibility to drag and drop Music in to the playlists. Now that the local files are gone there is no way i can add my own music to the playlists... i'm one step away from leaving spotify behind. The changes that happened here in the last view months are just stupid and its not worth my money anymore.

Glad I'm not alone at least with this issue.

Yeah it's incredibly frustrating. I'm also one step away from cancelling my subscription. For a paid service this should not be happening.
