How do I remove sync'd songs?

Spotify is taking up 2.3gb and on my friends phone it only takes up 1.3gb I'm assuming this is because he doesn't sync songs. How do I unsync songs and free up some memory on my phone?

There are severel ways to free up memory on your phone.

Unsync playlists by turning of "offline" for each playlist. The playlists will now be able to be removed from your phone.
Reinstall Spotify to start from scratch.

Hi there,

In most cases, a reinstallation is recommended. Some garbage may still be in storage when you unsync the tracks without a reinstallation.

May I ask if youre unsyncing your tunes how are you going to listen to anything? Have you thought of selecting a lower quality download to save space as its quite surprising how much difference thats makes or just investing in a cheap as chips memory card?
