Wrong track dispayed when controlling mac from iPad

When i use my ipad to control spotify on my mac, both the art works and tracks dispalyed match up, however when i queue a track from another album/playlist to the one currently playing when the track starts the ipad displays the wrong track. It shows what would have been next in the playlist/album previous rather than the cureent track. The mac displays the correct track though..... Help!

I have tried resetting ipad and reinstaling app, but problem persists

having read through previos posts this seems to be a on going problem, with spotify connect and ios device showing wrong track when queueing tracks

any ideas??

also tried on iphone 6, same problem

Hi archtom, I have escalated this to the Spotify staff to find out if this is a known issue to them or not.

Hi @archtom, I can confirm that this issue has been reported internally, so the staff are currently working towards a resolution.
