Local files not syncing to iPhone 5s

iMac running Yosemite 10.10.3

iPhone 5s iOS 8.3

My local files used to be synced to my playlist but after an update they became "grayed out" and when i click on the file on my phone, it says "Song Not Synced". Both my iMac and iPhone are connected to the same wifi, my firewall is turned off on my mac, and I've reinstalled both the spotify desktop app and mobile app multiple times (cleared all cache as well). Additionally, I have my desktop client open to the playlist containing the local files while I am marking the playlist w/ the local files for offline sync on my phone. I've tried to put the local files in their own playlist to sync it offline but that does not work either. I'm not sure what else to try and this problem seems to be a persistant issue and is very frustrating.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This has happened to me too, but reinstalling worked for me. If I were you I would try restarting my iPhone and my iMac.
