&lt;P&gt;That's odd. Does it help when you try the following :&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;- Remove Spotify&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;- Reboot device&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;- Install Spotify&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>iPad issue</title>

      <description>I have spotify premium 3.2.0.1554 stalled on my iPad Air running 8.3. When using spotify app today, each time I switched to another app, email for example or the iPad went into lock screen, spotify stopped playing music but resumes when the app is selected.. This has never happened before and I cannot seem to find any answers. I have reinstalled spotify but still get the same issue.</description>

      <description>Thanks for the welcome and response. Your solution worked for a short while but it has reverted back to the initial problem. I don't want to be uninstalling spotify every time I want to listen to music.</description>

      <description>Hello Frispy,&lt;BR /&gt;got exactly the same problem here. Same version spotify same version iOS.&lt;BR /&gt;Been running spotify a long time now on my iPad but since the last spotify update music stops playing when switching to another app or locking the iPad.&lt;BR /&gt;Music has always been playing continiously before in the backround.&lt;BR /&gt;Seems to be an iPad issue because on my S3 mini with android I did not encounter these problems.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The issue is re-occuring and is becoming a real pain! Having to remove, reboot at least once a week to resolve. Spotify, please sort it out??&lt;/P&gt;</description>
