Track Time and Display

What happened to the ability to view track time and the amount of time remaining in the song? Also, in the new display, you can't see any information at the top of your phone such as time of day, battery life, wifi signal, etc. Please bring all of this back as an option!!

The new now playing screen hides the time after a few seconds.

Spotify is aware of the feedback though

Hope this is restored. I use Spotify (Premium) to teach classes at the gym, and the timer is integral!! Please bring it back.

Agreed! I use this daily at the gym and I NEED spotify to bring this options back. I will have to look elsewhere for music options

cannot imagine what they were thinking when they added code to make the track time fade out...

it's essential for exercise instructors who depend on track timing for class.

Hard to believe they wasted programming code to actually create a bug on purpose...

I would gladly choose to have a large minutes and seconds countdown timer option to be displayed instead of the album cover... This would be incredibly useful for my use as a fitness instructor.
