Auto use offline mode

Hello,

When I have a 3G connection, and I listen to a song of a playlist that is available offline, will Spotify use data?

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

Spotify will use your 3G connection when a song you're playing is not synced to your device. But over the 3G connection it won't sync new songs you have marked to make availible offline.

If you want to be sure Spotify won't use data you can switch of cellular data usage for Spotify in your iPhone settings.

Settings>Cellular>[Scroll down to Spotify, loading might take a few seconds]>Slide off Spotify

This blocks Spotify in an attempt to use your cellular connection. If you make availible your songs offline you can still listen to your songs without draining your battery (due to 3G usage) and keep your data limit save 🙂
