Why won't Spotify let me rotate view to landscape?

This drives me mad! Many song titles don't fit on to a 'portrait' oriented iPhone screen.

Why is the app set up so it is locked in portrait? Let me rotate to I can actually read the track information!! Please!!!!!!!!

The Idea for allowing landscape mode (main topic for iOS anyways) is talked about over on the Ideas Exchange here but has been marked as "Not right now".

I agree and this was requested in the idea exchange but marked as "not right now" as the devs apparently have other more pressing priorities 😞

Wow. I just switched my phone from a Note 4 to an iPhone 6+ and was shocked that iOS doesn't do landscape mode like Android does. So much for iOS being the better developed platform 🙂
