Spotify being dumb as hell

So I am trying to find a song by Jason Aldean called tonight looks good on you but whenever I look it up all that comes up is some playlists that are dumb as hell also. Why can't I just get the song that I want just by Jason Aldean and not some stupid covers by horrible singer

That would be because Jason Aldean is 'dumb as hell' and removed his stuff from Spotify shortly after his last album release.

Quite a few artists are doing this, as you've noticed Jason Aldean has.

As far as I know, with the new releases of Apple Music and Playstation Music (even though Spotify runs that), different artists are moving all of their content to one streaming platform, as the platform has paid the artist to do so.

Like, say, Taylor Swift. After her 1989 album release, Apple bough the streaming rights to her songs, and now Apple Music is the only streaming service allowed by copyright laws to host her songs.
