Computer and iPhone not syncing

When I add a new album to my Spotify on my Macbook, the album is not showing up on my iPhone. I tried closing and restarting Spotify on both systems and resorting it by "most recent albums". Any ideas?

Okay, after playing around with it, that doesn't seem to be the problem. The problem is that when I select an album and save it to my albums, it is not doing so on EITHER platform. So, then the system doesn't see it in order to sync it. For example, I saved Carrie Underwood's new album on my iPhone. It is there, I play the music. I close Spotify on my iPhone and reopen it, and the album is gone. Doesn't matter whether I save the album for offline playing or not. This happens with ALL albums. I do not have that many albums saved for offline, so my quota is not full.

Any ideas?
