Local Files on iphone

So i have my local files and they work fine on my desktop, but they don't seem to work on my phone. They show up but they're grayed out and my phone and computer are on the same wifi network. When I go to make playlists with these files available offline they get stuck on "waiting to download." Is there a way to make these available on mobile devices?

Hi There,

Have you tried toggling wifi to mobile data to see if you can get them to play on your phone?

Alternatively, have you gone into settings to try and allow downloading offline content over mobile data? I don't recommend keeping this setting on, it is just for troubleshooting purposes to make sure that you are actually able to download songs for offline use.

Also, would you happen to know how many devices you have with offline content. Spotify only allows a maximum of 3 devices at any given time, so that could also be an issue.

I have two devices currently as offline devices. don't know how to add my
phone as the third one.

my two devices are my desktop and my laptop and I would like to add my
iphone
