iPhone Dock Controls Shuffle

Hi,

I've found that when I connect my iPhone to my car stereo via Apple lighning connector (official cable) I cannot control Spotify shuffle via the car. If I use the Apple Music App shuffle is enabled and disabled by pressing a button on my steering wheel. If I try this with the Spotify app the button has no effect and shuffle remains in its current state; however, the skip next and previous track buttons do work via the car controls.

Is this a known issue with iPhone dock controls or something specific to my vehicle? I have a 2014 Hyundai i30.

Hi @user-removed, unfortunately due to iOS restrictions, the shuffle button will only work with the default Music app. This is something that is out of Spotify's control.
