Download Local Files to iPhone

I have a couple of albums worth of songs on both my Mac iTunes and my phone iTunes. I have successfully added them to a few Spotify playlists on my Mac, but it won't download to my iPhone's Spotify. It shows up in the playlists, but the songs are darkened and won't allow me to play or download them for offline mode. Help!

This did not solve the problem, still wont download the songs.
